This Condominium is located in Conchas Chinas, the Beverly Hills of Puerto Vallarta. Set on the side of a mountain, it offers spectacular views of the Bay and surrounding areas. There are 2 master bedrooms, each with an oval tub that offers a view as well. Each has a small terrace. There is another bathroom off of the living room. The main terrace is huge and the sunsets are spectacular. There are 4 units in this building and this is the second highest. Phil lives at the ground level and this is his view. Just imagine what two more levels will offer.

Fortunately, the two levels will set you apart from Phil and his multitude of cats. Actually, Phil only has 2 cats but they bring their friends over for fish dinners and the wild ones get accustomed to this delicacy and soon become Phil's as well. If he could catch them, they would be neutered immediately but these are sneaky jungle cats. They may sleep atop this computer monitor but are faster than lightening if approached with a cage. You can see it in their eyes. Cage, car ride, no balls, outta here! This is a photo of Richard, or 'Little 'Dick' as Phil originally called him when he was given this iguana as a 6 inch baby over 10 years ago. Richard lived in an aquarium and then a cage and eventually was released into the jungle where he still resides in a tree nearby the condo and has lots of other 'Little Dicks' roaming around.

The condo décor is very minimal and there is no television or radio, just a good supply of paperbacks, 1997 Readers Digests and the view. The kitchen is equipped and Phil will stock it if you send him a list for groceries (at cost). He also offers airport pick-up and delivery and promises to wash his old car for this event. Maid service is provided twice a week (it may be Phil in a pinch and from boat experience, he is great with a mop) and we can arrange for daily service as well, and cater small dinner parties. .

This condo is not suitable for small children, it is a cliff place and the terrace does not have high sides. A baby or older child would be fine. Phil does not want to mislead you, this condo is over 16 years old and in Vallarta that almost makes it a Heritage site but he has done his best with the garden and is pretty proud of his work. There may be a bit of peeling paint but this is small stuff in Paradise.

The condo is not cheap. If you are coming on a package then quite honestly, you are much better to stick with the hotel included. If you want something special that is a step beyond the hotel scene then this may be it. A car rental would be helpful but not necessary, there is taxi service and buses nearby.

The approximate cost is $150--$200 US per night but this will be discounted generously if you would like to spend a month or 2 here. Just imagine, living in paradise, deep-sea fishing each week and the best advise for beach fishing on a daily basis, maybe even a few private tours for free.

Phil and Debbie have other vacation rentals available as well and if you would like some information, please free to ask. If you are considering purchasing a condo, house or property in this area, daughter Nicole is one of the most enthusiastic agents in PV, send her a note and she will be happy to fill you in on any possibilities.
